Stonehenge, Oxford

As with any ancient civiliazations, there is the need to construct some great monument to remember the people of the past.

Stonehenge being one of them. Origin unknown, pupose debatable, construction pure hypothesis.

Still a wonderful feet of human nature. One of the seven wonders of the world.
The bluestones and sarsen stones. Managed to take some magneficent pictures.

Oxford university was founded when one the Kings of England forbad people to enter France to study. Back in the days priests were one of the only educated people, and they all congregated near a small area called Oxford.

Thompson Wasllsey founder of Cartenal college which was later renamed Christ Church by Henry VIII was the founder of Christ Church. There was a falling out b/w these 2 men when Henry had to disconnect himself from the Catholic church in order to get a divorce to his first wife.

Christ Church was the filiming location for numerous Harry Potter movies and a beautiful campus.

There was also a connection of Lewis Carole a mathematician who wrote a series of Alice in wonderland books to capture the heard of Alice (The daughter of Dean of Christ Church at that time)

Really didn't see many students on the campus as it was a Sunday Evening. But our tour guide simply just didn't care enough to discuss and manage our time.

It's just simply rubbish to blame these kinds mistakes timing and waiting and have the tourist pay for them.

Overall unimpressed with the touring system in london, but very impressed with the history of these sights and attractions.
