Not as rich as the Brits

Schonbrunn Palace was beautiful. The grounds were huge filled with nature and gardens and maze. The tour of the interior left me feeling....that they were just not as rich as the Brits. The imperial palace wasn't too ostentatious, wasn't over the top, wasn't as grand.

Marriage De Figaro is the first Opera I have ever seen. The entire play was in Italian. The sound of opera in Italian is how opera is suppose to be? There were English translations on the prompter in front of my seat. But following along was difficult. Reading back on summary from wiki, I now have a better understanding of what the play is about. It tells the story of a married man who wants to have an affair with a women that is about to be married to Figaro because he is bored of  his wife. The opera house was grand and beautiful. Every first is always exciting and memorable.

The food was alright. I remember trying their local version of coca cola and it definitely did not taste like Cola. The schnitzels which they are famous for was very tasty. And even had some Chinese food on the last day. I realize that the differing background of how people grow up really does affect ones attitude towards their own country.
